The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) requires that electricity brokers disclose the following information to prospective clients prior to entering into an agreement to broker an electricity contract.
GTI Manufacturing, Inc.
DBA GTI Energy Advisors
17 La Costa Drive, Suite 102
Montgomery, TX 77356
BR200106
GTI Energy Advisors is not an affiliate of any energy supplier (REP) and operates independently and impartially on behalf of its clients. GTI Energy Advisors has no financial interest in any specific energy supplier.
GTI Energy Advisors is a B2B energy procurement and energy spend management consultancy that focuses on commercial and industrial (C&I) customers looking for a trusted advisor to take a real interest in managing their energy spend. The most common areas we focus on include deregulated energy procurement for electricity and natural gas, demand response, renewable energy procurement, distributed energy resources, and load and bill management dashboards.
GTI Energy Advisors works with a client until the client notifies GTI Energy Advisors of their desire to end the engagement.
The industry uses a document called a Letter of Exclusivity (LOE) to notify suppliers of the current broker representing a client. A new LOE executed by a client for a different broker removes GTI Energy Advisors as the broker of record.
Any client engagement can be canceled in writing — either via email or via execution of a new LOE — and is effective immediately upon receipt by GTI Energy Advisors.
GTI Energy Advisors is paid directly by the contracted energy supplier for each contract written on behalf of a client. The client does not directly pay GTI Energy Advisors. GTI's compensation is included in the energy rate offered by the supplier and does not represent an additional charge to the client above market pricing.
The PUCT provides multiple ways to contact them to report any issues or concerns regarding electricity brokers operating in Texas.
